Shehani is currently a final year HDR candidate at the University of Sydney doing her Masters of Philosophy in Medicine. She has also completed a Graduate Certificate in Human Nutrition from Deakin University. She has over 15 years of administrative experience working in several disciplines and has been involved with research and clinical trials in the past five years. Shehani is a family person and loves to travel and spend time with family.

Understanding Hip Osteoarthritis: Learn about the underlying causes of hip OA, how wear-and-tear on the joint leads to pain and stiffness, and why certain risk factors, such as age, weight, and previous injuries, can make it more likely to develop. Understanding these elements can help you better manage symptoms.
Treatment Approaches: Explore both non-surgical and surgical treatment options, from medications and physical therapy to injections and joint replacement surgery, and gain clarity on which treatments might be right for your stage of osteoarthritis.
Movement Strategies: Discover how targeted exercises can help support the hip joint, improve function, and reduce discomfort. Robyn and Belinda will demonstrate practical techniques designed to strengthen the surrounding muscles, enhance mobility, and promote long-term joint health.
